Sweet Baked Pears

Ingredients

  • 2 Bosc Pears sliced in half
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar or pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Slice the pears in half and scoop the seeds out, making a hole for filling.

  2. Sprinkle the pears with the coconut sugar and cinnamon evenly.

  3. Add in the chopped walnuts to where we scooped out the seeds.

  4. Pop it in a 350 degree oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until soft and wilted. Serve as is or with some ice cream or yogurt.
