Fudgy Vegan Sea Salt Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter melted
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 flax eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz dark chocolate melted and cooled
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • sea salt flakes to top brownies

Instructions

  1. Mix together the melted vegan butter, sugar, flax eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate in a large bowl until smooth and combine.

  2. Add in the flour, cocoa powder and salt and mix until it just comes together.

  3. Pour into a 8x8 greased baking pan and sprinkle the top with sea salt flakes (or any sea salt).

  4. Pop into a 350 degree preheated oven and cook for 30-35 minutes until set around the edges. Let cool completely before cutting.

**Instead of a flax egg, I used my Neat Egg, but either will work. The Neat Egg will give the brownie a hint taste of chickpeas
